Circuit Breaker Replacement in Toronto

A circuit breaker that trips repeatedly, won't reset, or feels warm to the touch needs immediate attention. RK Power Electric diagnoses and replaces faulty circuit breakers across Toronto - and identifies whether the underlying issue is the breaker, the wiring, or the load.

What to expect

We replace individual breakers, as well as full Federal Pacific (Stab-Lok) and Zinsco panels - two brands notorious for failing to trip under overload conditions, creating a serious fire hazard. If your Toronto home has a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel, replacement is strongly recommended.

We also diagnose the cause of repeated tripping - sometimes the issue is an overloaded circuit that needs to be split, an appliance drawing too much current, or a wiring fault downstream. We find the root cause and fix it, not just the symptom.

Arc-fault circuit interrupters (AFCIs) are now required by Ontario Electrical Code on bedroom circuits and certain other circuits. When replacing breakers, we upgrade to AFCI or AFCI/GFCI combination breakers where code requires it.
